From their Eponymous first record, The Eagles immediately established themselves in the hierarchy in Californian rock. By the time they released 'On the Boarder' in 1973, the band were playing alongside the likes of Black Sabbath, ELP and Deep Purple in front of 200,000 fans at the infamous California Jam. For many however it is 1976's multi-Grammy award winning 'Hotel California' that is the band's enduring legacy.
